Eco Conscious Store, Harmonious Coexistence with the City/ZARA Shibuya, Koen-Dori.

ザラ渋谷.jpgZARA-JAPAN launched a new shop "ZARA Shibuya Koen-Dori" (floor space:871㎡)on November 25 in Shibuya, Tokyo. According to Jesus Echevarria, the Chief Communications Officer (CCO) of the company, the new store "represents and provides the everlasting evolution image of ZARA brand".
The newly opened store also introduces a new concept of ZARA image - the harmonious coexistence with the city. This is the 50th ZARA store in the country and it was specially designed to meet the atmosphere of Shibuya fashion streets.
The facade of the building is decorated with metal feathers which colors vary from green and red into blue according to the lighting. A huge ZARA logo is located on the top of the building another logo and a large visual image are placed just above the entrance of the store. The wall art inside the store is inspired from the city views and girls fashion of Shibuya and Manhattan. There are also some new design nuances such as the LED lighting that was used for the first time. The interior itself and the store fixtures with their black, white and dark wood colors together with the grey stone floor create very chic atmosphere inside the store. Also, the low store fixtures in combination with high displays are arranged so that the customers could easily walk, pick up and try on the goods in the store.
