writtenafterwards: Warm knits and Lolita look.

リトゥン.jpgwrittenwafterwards (designer Yoshikazu Yamagata) presented his new A/W 10/11 collection. Young models with whitened skin were wearing warm cable knitting and boucle wear and bumpy checked wool cardigans. White, yellow and blue candy colors of the knits looked very girly. Also, the laundry knags wrapped in knits were clipped randomly on the clothes bringing some playful atmosphere to the whole collection.
The models were wearing skirts and hems pinned up by knags leaving an image of "elementary school boy who'd been flicking up girl's skirts". The show ended with an interesting performance of the boy who played all these "imaginary" tricks, he was "hung up" on the clothesline like laundry and walked the runway.
The collection style that at first was very girly by the end of the show started to look old-womanish. "In my new collection wanted to show an ultimate and everlasting Lolita image. Actually now the girls in the city look quite like grannies," said the designer Yoshikazu Yamagata.
