KOKKA
Most days during the Japanese rainy season, which lasts from June to July, bring showers. In recent years, fashionable rain boots and raincoats have been gaining popularity with those who want to enjoy fashion on these rainy days. Since this time of year falls in between seasons, customers tend to wait for bargain sales to begin before going out shopping. With that in mind, predominant retail stores such as Isetan and Barneys are holding fairs to push fashionable and unique rainwear and encourage customers to visit. But it isn't only larger stores - KOKKA, the textile concept shop in Daikanyama, Tokyo, is also holding its own fair. They produced prints brining back old-style patterns, umbrellas using original fabrics, and more.
