New exhibition by Yokoo Tadanori opened at Comme des Garçons art space Six in Osaka, Minamisenba. For the first time in 44 years the artist presented the series of his works called "Pink Girl" that he has started in 60's and since then continued by adding some new works.
The artist combines two key colors - pink and blue in his series. As it comes closer to the recent works, the lines and the colors become narrower thus reflecting the concept of the paintings - "the reverse perspective of memories". In his new work "Arabian woman holding a pot" he painted a woman who is exposing her breast and mockingly sticking her tongue out.
The exhibition will be opened until April 4.
