As for colors, bright colors are especially in abundance, as if to brighten one up from the depression of the economic crisis. The mix of vibrant colors and black is new and refreshing, and yet also shows off somewhat of a dark side as well. Prints are fully stocked, with large, colorful flowers really standing out.
Marc Jacobs' new items are colorful and a bit eccentric. They mix oriental elements with a tropical mood, combining decorative details well.
Matthew Williamson's soft silhouetted mini dress comes in bright colors such as cherry red and cobalt blue. The ombre prints and graphic-touch feather patterns are brilliant and vivid.
Derek Lam's print motifs are of shells and swirls. The image of the beach is expressed in a more metropolitan fashion.
