The fair appeals Japan's fashion from Tokyo to the world!
Organized by Senken Shimbun Co., Ltd. a comprehensive trade show "JFW International Fashion Fair (JFW-IFF)" will take place at Tokyo Big Sight from January 14th to 16th, 2009. 730 exhibitors from 15countries and areas including Japan, the United States, Europe and Asia etc. will participate in thefair.
From the last fair in July, it made a fresh start as JFW-IFF by cooperating with the Japan Fashion Week (JFW) Organization, which promotes "Japan Fashion Week in Tokyo". From this fair, we not only introduce fashion products and services ranging from clothing to accessories to the visitors, but are engaged in efforts more than ever to appeal fashion brands and designers from Japan and other Asian countries to the global market.
As JFW-IFF, "2009 Asian Designers Collection in Tokyo" will be held. Rising designers from 9 cities of Seoul, Taipei, Manila, Ho Chi Minh, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Jakarta, and Delhi will introduce their collections in a joint fashion show on the 14th, the opening day of the fair. Also, seven young award-winning designers from each country who won the "New Designers Fashion Grand Prize" in Japan, will hold exhibitions and eleven designers will perform presentations.
Other important roles of JFW-IFF are to propose highly sensitive fashion and brands which the market seeks for in various products and to appeal Japanese textile industry's high standard capabilities to plan, create and manufacture.
For instance, there will be the "T-FACTORY" section where companies gather to realize the manufacturing of casual T-shirts from the body selection to the printing process by a wide range of production-lots and appointed dates of deliveries.
